Moving In
Welcome! The Township requires a moving in permit, which is a fee of $5.00. The moving permit application may be obtained at the Township Office or can be located under the forms and documents tab. The following information is required when filling out the form: names of all residents over 18 years of age along, the moving in address, the previous address and the moving in date.

*Note: If individuals are moving from different addresses into the same address, a separate moving permit is required for each person.

*Note: If you are enrolling a child into the Northampton Area School District, you must provide them with a copy of the moving permit which will be provided by the Township if requested.

Moving Out
Moving OUT of the Township, a moving permit ($5.00 fee) shall be obtained from the Township Office or can be located under the forms and documents tab or at the Township office. This ensures that you are removed from the Township tax records.

Moving Within the Township
Moving WITHIN the Township, a moving permit ($5.00 fee) shall be obtained from the Township Office or can be located under the forms and documents tab or at the Township office. This ensures that you address is current on the Township tax records.

Mailing Moving Permits
If you print a copy of the moving permit from the Township web site, please mail the completed form along with the $5.00 fee, check payable to Lehigh Township, to 1069 Municipal Road, Walnutport, PA 18088. Once received by the Township, a signed issued copy by the Township will be mailed back to you for your records.

Occupancy Permit
An occupancy permit is only required for new home construction. The application is provided in the new home construction packet or can be found under the forms and documents tab. This needs to be provided to the Township prior to final inspection of the new home.
